Kathy G. Lubbers lives with her husband, Paul Lubbers in Key Biscayne, FL. Kathy was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis over 20 years ago and is grateful to research and the modern medicines it produces as they have positively impacted her life dramatically. Kathy serves on the Board of Trustees of the Arthritis Foundation and has a lead role in their Fundraising and Major Gift Committees.

Jeanne Cadwallader lives outside Miami Florida on Key Biscayne, She is single, and was a part of the initial A2A4A group and walked the Athens Marathon last year.

Cynthia Counts is a founding member of the original A2A4A team. She is the managing member of a small boutique law firm based in Atlanta, GA, that specializes in media and first amendment law. Over the past 16 years, she has established a well-regarded first amendment practice representing numerous print media and broadcast clients. Her personal interests include running, travel, pop culture, playing with her two adorable dogs, and hanging out with her running buddies at her favorite coffeehouse.

Jackie Gingrich Cushman lives in Atlanta, Georgia with her husband and two children. Jackie is passionate about improving the world her two children will inherit and teaching them how to make a positive impact through their daily lives. As a daughter of former Speaker Newt Gingrich, her perspective has been shaped by a lifetime of work in the political arena. Jackie is the President of the Learning Makes A Difference Foundation, and a founding member of the A2A4A team. She and her father are working together on a guided tour of Washington, D.C., titled, “In God We Trust,” as well as a book titled “The Five Principles of Life,” which focuses on how to be successful in life. Jackie also writes a weekly column for Townhall.com.

Dody Nolan is happily married to husband Robert and they reside in Virginia Beach, Virginia along with their two Dobermans, also known as "the boys". She is 53 years old and work in the automotive industry. She has varied interests including; sky-diving, scuba diving, rappelling, powered parachuting, hiking, outdoor adventure and traveling.

Caroline M. Schloss of Knotts Island, North Carolina is a 47 year old single mother of three adopted sons and a German Shepard. As a small business owner she works as an automotive technician and manages a record label. Her college degrees are in Clinical Psychology and continuing education encompasses paralegal, real estate and automotive. Her personal interests include her family, people, gymnastics, red-tail hawks and music.

Diane Wigington of Austin, Texas is a 54 year-old mother of 2 grown sons. She has worked in the telecommunications industry for the past 17 years, the last 8 at Grande Communications. On the side, she, and her husband David, own a Super Suppers franchise in Austin. She has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Calgary and an MBA from St. Edward's University, Her personal interests are travel, reading and gardening.

Shannon Lipham lives in Carrollton, GA where she is the owner of Results! “The Medical Spa For Serious Skincare”. She has a lovely daughter, Blare, and several pets she adores.

Cindy Mize will be participating in her first-ever Marathon in Portland with Joints In Motion and A2A4A! Originally from Toccoa, Georgia and arriving in South Florida 18 years ago via Washington, DC, Cindy now lives in Key Biscayne, Florida, with her husband, Walter Caridad. Professionally, Cindy has over 27 years of marketing and management experience in the technology industry. Having founded and sold two, successful technology, start-up businesses, Cindy retired from the Intel Corporation in 2004, where she was the Latin America Channel Business Manager, Sales and Marketing Group. Cindy is the current President of the Key Biscayne American Legion Auxiliary, V.P. of the Key Biscayne Republican Club, a member of the Key Biscayne Woman’s Club, the Key Biscayne Yacht Club, the Key Biscayne Historical and Heritage Society, and other civic and service organizations in Miami-Dade County. She attends Granada Presbyterian Church. Cindy is a Realtor ® with Fortune International in Key Biscayne, FL.

Phyllis Head, having been happily coerced into participating in a marathon by her dear friend Kathy Lubbers, is one of the founding members of the A2A4A Team. She has recently relocated to her hometown of Carrollton, Georgia after having lived in New York City for twenty-five years and is taking a year off to adjust to the drastic change and figure out what to do with the rest of her life! She is proud to support the incredible work done by the Arthritis Foundation.
